We develop reference programs for high-impact climate R&D and invite universities, laboratories, governments, foundations, and independent experts to review, challenge, and improve them.
What we do

Current initiative: Climate Moonshot
Eight roughly $1B, five-year initiatives spanning low-cost fission, economic fusion, climate models, SAI, and MCB.
The portfolio is a starting point - not a package any institution is being asked to adopt unchanged.
About Manhattan 2
The Manhattan 2 Project is a nonprofit initiative directed by Glenn Weinreb. Its role is to develop and share open-source climate R&D reference programs, then encourage qualified institutions and experts to evaluate and improve them.
The organization is not intended to own every program or receive the full program budget; implementation can be led by independent institutions and competed openly.
